The Cala d’Or area is made up of several small coves rather than one long beach. Cala Gran is the central and busiest choice, while Cala Esmeralda, Cala Ferrera and Cala Serena offer different levels of facilities, space and scenery.
Nearby coves such as Cala Sa Nau, Cala Mondragó, S’Amarador and Cala Mitjana are also popular for visitors who have a car, take a taxi or join a boat trip.

Central and convenient, with useful facilities nearby. It is often the easiest beach for first-time visitors.
