About Cala Ferrera

Cala Ferrera sits just north of Cala d’Or and is one of the area’s most popular resort beaches. The cove has a wide sea entrance, steep rocky sides and a sandy beach that is larger than many nearby calas.

It is well suited to families and relaxed swimmers because the water is generally clear and the entry is gentle near the shore. In summer, it becomes busy with visitors from the surrounding hotels and apartments.

Facilities are stronger than at the smaller coves, with sunbed hire and toilets available, plus restaurants and shops within an easy walk. Parking is usually found on nearby streets and small local parking areas.
