About Cala Gran

Cala Gran is the biggest and most central of the Cala d’Or beaches. It has fine pale sand, clear sheltered water and a practical resort setting with restaurants, shops and services close by.

The beach is narrow but stretches back from the sea, giving more room than many smaller coves. It is one of the best choices for families who want easy access, facilities and a reliable beach day without travelling out of town.

Because Cala Gran is so central, it is also one of the busiest beaches in high season. Arrive early if you want sunbeds, easier parking or a better spot close to the water.
