About Cala Mitjana

Cala Mitjana is a small natural cove on the Felanitx coast, close to Cala Sa Nau and north of Cala d’Or. It is much less developed than the main resort beaches.

The beach is usually reached by parking near Cala Sa Nau and continuing on foot along a rural/coastal path. Allow around 15–20 minutes each way and wear sensible shoes.

Facilities are very limited and should not be relied on. Bring water, shade and anything you need, and keep luggage light because of the walk.

How to get to Cala Mitjana

Cala Mitjana is north of Cala d’Or, close to Cala Sa Nau on the Felanitx coastline.

  • By Car: Drive towards Cala Sa Nau, park in the permitted area, then continue on foot for around 15–20 minutes.
  • By Taxi: A taxi can take you to the Cala Sa Nau area, but arrange collection in advance because return taxis are not guaranteed.
  • By Boat: Arriving by boat is possible in calm conditions, but respect anchoring rules and keep clear of swimmers.
  • By Bus: There is no practical direct bus to the cove. Use Cala d’Or transport and then taxi/car if needed.
