Cala Mondragó is a beautiful sandy beach on Mallorca’s southeast coast, close to Portopetro, Santanyí and Cala d’Or. It forms part of Mondragó Natural Park, a protected area known for pine forest, walking trails, rocky coves and clear Mediterranean water.
The beach is popular in summer, but it still feels more natural than many resort beaches. The shallow water makes it a strong choice for families, while the rocky sides of the bay are good for snorkelling.
Nearby S’Amarador beach is also within walking distance, making this one of the best beach areas near Cala d’Or for combining swimming, scenery and a short coastal walk.
